Modeo MR63 Android Smart Box

I bought this Modeo MR63 from PC Fair which held in East Coast Mall Kuantan. This is the second Modeo’s product that I bought. The first one is Modeo MR56 media player.

Unboxing:

This product is loaded with Android 2.3.4. All the apps can be downloaded and installed from Android Market. Friendly speaking if u use the bundled remote control with this product, lot of things or program got limitation to run or use. So, I bought the Modeo Air Mouse Keyboard KB30 for easy use. But, it is out of stock and I got to wait.

It is built in Cortex A9 1.2GHz processor, 512MB DDR2 RAM and 2GB of internal memory. But, after install OS, it left 1.6GB only. I got the 4 ports USB hub for free. Total bundle of MR63 + KB30 is RM529!

I installed Angry Bird and other games. All are playable but some might not run smoothly. I’m still looking for the app that able to play WMV file.

Le Tour de Langkawi 2012

This morning, my car stucked in the middle road near Beserah Road in Kuantan. This is due to the road block for giving the racing ‘track’ to the contestants of LTDL 2012. After 15 minutes, they are cycling through and all motorists are back on road.

My New 2 1/2 Storey Terrace House

This is the second installment which film in 3D. But, that is not so worth to see in 3D. Actually, I don’t understand what is the story about very well. So, I found that boring and just watch the little special effect of 3D.

Johnny Blaze hideouts in Eastern Europe. He is called to protect one boy from the attack of the devil. The devil want this boy to help him transforming into human form!

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island 3D

For this movie, the 3D effect is great! But, the story is simple as ordinary adventure movie. No surprise! I like the gold mountain in the movie, if it is real, wow, so rich! One great rule of this island is the small creatures might become big in size and the big one will become smaller size. I think it might got third installment in future.

The Grey

I like this movie as the story is interesting and it show how the plane crash survivor struggle in the wild. They need to fight with the  wolves that want to hunt them down! One thing that not so good is the fighting between last survivor with the wolf is no ending result.

First of all, this film is shot with video camera. But, after half an hour, they shot it in normal way. Luckily it is like that, if not, I will feel dizzy!

A group of three friends discover the mystery place and gain superpower. They can control everything from their mind. They able to fly too. But, this power will turn them into ‘devil’ or darker side. Finally, they fight each other and lastly only one that survive!

Underworld: Awakening 3D

I can’t forget when I started to watch Underworld series. I did remember that the first installment of this movie was not played in Malaysia’s cinema. For this round, the races of vampire and Lycan, werewolf races are threatened by human. Selene was captured  by human and do the test for 10 years. Her daughter escape and help to release Selene too. They want to fight Lycan and human for better future. Again! This is the movie that not worth to watch in 3D version!

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus

Last week, I sold my HTC Desire HD for RM850. Then, I used old fashion phone for over one week. So pity!

Well! I bought this Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus from my friend’s shop. This is the hybrid phone which can perform as tablet functionality. But, if really use it as phone, then, need bluetooth hand-free to make or receive call. If not, hold it near your face and looked weird for calling.

The specifications for this phone is:

  • 1.2GHz Dual Core Processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • Micro SD card slot
  • Android 3.2 Honeycomb
  • 3MP camera with LED flash
  • 7″ WSVGA (1024 x 600) PLS LCD screen
  • Full HD (1080p) playback and HD recording
  • 4000 mAh Battery
Overall functionality are well design and good. For the Smart Remote, I just manage to on or off my tv or d other basic command only. But, if you are in US, u must get to link with the TV programme in your area. The browsing experience is great and the speed is faster enough.

The Great Magician

At first, I thought this is an action movie with lots of fighting scenes. But, It is actually a comedy + action movie. I like and enjoy it. The story is a bit messy but still understandable. Since CNY is around the corner, so, this must be one of the choice for the Chinese to choose from.
